Infestation stucks in Steem

It just stucks before language selection - after nice animated landing and credits.
Same disk image of game works fine in Hatari.
Didn't find anything with Google. Incompatible ?

Vague memories, from a conversation years ago now, of a 2nd protection check buried deep inside the game that a few groups missed. Doesn't explain though why it works in Hatari but not in STEEM.

This is very interesting...
I made adaptation for hard disk - to run it without floppy. There were some strange floppy rutines, very likely remains of protection. I disabled them (because stucked on Mega STE, but after language selection).

Now it works fine under Steem, except some minor graphic trash by playing intro (only in Steem). But adaptation works not in Hatari - it just jumps to Windows immediately as I start loader. Of course, loader works fine on all Atari machines with enough RAM. (On Falcon starts, but stucks when 3D starts).

Every day I discover some new dumb situations...

This game (Auto 269) works with Pasti "slow".
In the CIA we learned that ST ruled
