I've added a link for the V1 and V1.5 booster, though I never used the wiki before. Will try and do a better page also..

Have you considered giving your hardware a brand/product name? Eg Ex Booster, Excelerator etc.

Might make it easier for people to Google/Search for on the forum in the future

Well they are called like "V1 booster" or "V1.5 booster" and brand is exxos ? If you google "V1.5 booster" it comes up first in the results, other than some stupid youtube stuff.

Guys, just some friendly advice.
Better practice is not to delete pages, but to delete the content of the old page, then put in a redirect to the new page. Code is

Code: Select all

#REDIRECT [[pagename]]

Benefits are
  • If any articles have a link to the old article we don't create orphaned links
  • We don't have people re-authoring the deleted article (if they click on a "red link" and create a page again).
  • It makes the wiki more stable from the users perspective, as people may have bookmarks pointing to the old page, and it shouldn't just disappear without explanation.

In this case we did create a broken link by deleting that page. There was a link to "older accelerators" in the "Atari Falcon" article, under "hardware Upgrades" section.
(You can view a previous version to see it, as I'm just about to point it to the nice, updated work that catmando has done!)
