Game "Nuclear Waste Dump" released!

Postby simonsunnyboy » Wed Oct 11, 2006 9:07 pm

Phew - finally it is out.

Today we release the game Nuclear Waste Dump which has been delayed for over a year. But it was worth the effort and we are proud to show you the nice artwork by Minz and the cool soundtrack by Marcer.
Code by Simon Sunnyboy!

As all games by Paradize this game is powered by GFABASIC. Go to our Games page to download! http://paradize.atari.org/

An emulator friendly diskimage will be provided soon!

This game is broken on MegaSTE. It's been tested on 3 machines. What happens is, it goes right into the game and skips the "Press fire to start" screen (you see it flash by as if somebeody is pressing rapid fire)

This has been tested on 3 mega STEs owned by 3 different people, and it happens on all of them: My machine, SCAT's machine, and someone else in the #atariscne channel.

Please test and fix this bug if possible, the game looks fun.

Thanks

FST

NWD has been fixed so it now works on Mega STE. The Medrez bug has been fixed too.

Grab the fixed version at the Paradize website: http://paradize.atari.org/

Thanks to ZWF/Paradox for letting me test the game on his Mega STE during Paracon!

Working fine on my TT. 8)
Did not test the sound though due to lack of appropriate cables.
I think that's great.

Go on with your work. :)

Make sure to redownload! By accident the first "fix" was the wrong binary and I uploaded the correct one.
The real fix announces itself with a "FIXED FOR MEGA STE" message.
