Hi Mr Stylus :)

Thanks for taking news from us ;)

I can answer for my personnal part : i try to finish some unfinished stuff, and i have a big network-based project. So anyone should prepare a working internet connection on his ST, the next releases from me will be game and online-oriented...

I can't tell more, but be sure we are all working a bit on our side to prepare some little sweeties for the atarians :)

Sunny, GGN, Marcer, Orion_, etc, now it's your turn ;)

Im workin on some music for 2 different projects atm. But those releases are for Falcon Users.. so in short expect 2 Falcon releases in pretty near future!.

thats my 2 cents :)

Due to my ongoing diploma thesis, Atari projects are on slow pace.

My game projects are stopped due to either lack of motivation or severe technical difficulties on the IKBD part.

A Falcon release is in the queue but I won't promise anything.

In short, for a motivation boost on anything we need pixel artists who are willing to spend their time with a fast respond time. That will allow a much faster project turnaround as it is more motivating to code something for existing media that wait for their use ;)

And Minz seems very busy with reallife atm - which is nothing wrong, just a fact...

SimonSB,

If you're after pixel art have you thought about posting on http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/?

A lot of people there are enthusiastic about creating tilesets and graphics using limited palettes, and lacking the skills to code there are many who'd be up for helping out a coding crew on a retro platform like the ST if there work will end up in a game.

I posted an ad there for GFX for RGCD and had a great response.

Might be worth trying... Same goes for you Unseen Menace.

Hope this helps with the motivation boost - I miss paradize prods :(

Well, motivation is rising. I've finished my studies 2 weeks ago and have more free time now. Some utilities and stuff are in progress and expect interest in game coding in the winter time.

Thanks for the link, I'll probably give it a go to hire a fulltime graphics man :D

I took a look, and the employment subforum looks overprofessional for my taste. When the first reply to a crew doing a game giving a short description is: "what do you have to offer?" I get a bad feeling...looks like all those are waiting to make money but don't really like to work with love and labor on a project just because it is fun :/
In short ppl like this are very unlikely to work with us Paradizers

I understand SSB, but it's worth a try...

There are two parts of the employment forum - paid and unpaid. The paid part is for people looking to contract pixel art for mobile games and shareware releases, whereas the unpaid section is for people looking for artists to join their hobby projects.

Artists like Ptoing have worked on demo/retro projects before (C64, etc.) and I would be genuinely surprised if you had no interest in your post.

All you need to say is that you represent an Atari ST(E) coding team who are looking for pixel artists to join up to work with you on some exciting retro projects.

Anyway, good luck! :)

Just wanted to inform you that I've started a new game project in the last week. Nothing more to tell than that it will be a small action puzzler with a rolling ball.

@Minz: If you are reading this and you have some spare time until Christmas, drop me a mail for your pixel support :D
