I'm behind a firewall and our system won't let me access Marcer's FTP. Grrrr!!!!

Pretty please with a cherry on the top!!!

Cheers!

Yeh, they made mod disks. I believe they gave up after 51 or 52 disks.

They all use Mac Sys Data's oh-so-familiar mod player code.

Though, they did cotton onto Noise Pakker so they managed to fit more on a disk than most (from disk 23 onwards).

I have disks 23, 24, 28, 31, 32, 33, 35, 37, 40, 41, 42, 43, 45, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51 as images.

In my opinion (acronyms? WTF?) they were OK when you had an ST because they were a half-decent way of listening to some nice soundtracker tunes, but nowadays they don't seem much use.

I would like nothing more to upload these disks to your ftp, but I just cannot get into it.

And to tell the truth, I haven't a clue why!

If you wish, I can lump them into a ZIP and email them to you?

Let me know...

Just noticed that the most recently uploaded Serenade menus are in 11 sector/80 track. All Serenade menus were 10 sector/82 track, so this format isn't necessary. Doesn't really matter if running through emulation but may cause problems if trying to convert the disks to run on an ST. If this is the case just create a blank formatted image at 10/82 and file copy the files from the extended format onto the more standard one.

Right, if anyone really wants them they're on Lee's Atari St Shrine FTP. In Uploads/Serenade mod menus (or something very similar).

It's Friday, pay-day, so I'm off to the bank, then the pub.

Wait 1 or 2 days. I will examine the entire ZIP file and will upload then the individual disks as ZIP files for your ftp server.
In the latter meet I many MSA files already uploaded. Among them rare Compilations of EFFECT, FRIGHTFUL, JAKE, TOMMY OF FINLAND, TRANTIC, ALIEN NATION, BAD STARS, CYRAX and DEPRESSION....

Greets....

...The Byte / TCE

EDIT: I have to upload straight begun with it the MOD disks.
In approximately 1 hour the disks should be available 24,27,28,31-33,35,37,40-48 and 51 on your server.

Thanks exxos....

Please people search the forum before posting...even if its only to prevent double posting. Let me say this one more time:-

I receive hundreds of requests for a login a day. Please don't submit through the form more than once. If you don't receive your details within a week, e-mail/pm me and I will sort it. Finally, don't have a go at me - I have a full time job as well as this to do, let's try and keep things positive on this forum.

I hope this is the last time I have to say all this.

One more thing, I will be announcing the automatic registration system in the next couple of days - keep your eyes peeled.

Stay /|\ everyone,

Lee :D
