SuperGau Collection

Postby RetroFreak » Tue May 28, 2013 7:12 pm

Hello All.

I am a newbie here and I am wondering if any of you could help me out.
I was an Atari ST owner from 1992 to 1995 and had a few Menu Disk collections. I Had disks from a lot of the big hitters on the scene.
I wish to relive the Glorious Retro days when gaming was fun and games weren't so bloody easy and expensive.
A collection I am having problems finding in a complete form is the SUPERGAU series.I have found an incomplete collection at Doperoms but need the missing disk images which are listed below.

GAU 594-95 California Games 2 (A and B)
GAU 596-98 Cannon Fodder A,B,C
GAU 734 Alternate Reality - The City
GAU 735 Road Runner (Dma)
GAU 736-37 Shadowlands (A and B)
GAU 738 Silent Service II
GAU 753-56 Street Fighter 2 A, B, C and D
GAU 757-58 Tip Off (A and B) +

If anybody can assist me in locating these missing Disk images I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks
GAU 759 Titus The Fox

Well Supergau is -NOT- a what I would call a series... its just numbers he used in his CD-ROM. I have the CD-Rom somewhere.

The Supergau CD is just a collection that this guy called SUPERGAU (member of BMT) from Germany released in the late 90's (20.04.1997). He just archived what he had in his collection and gave the disks some numbers... so this is -not- a series like for example Pompey Pirates. I'm going to upload this now... it might take a while.

DL-ed 2x . Same. I can mount it, but only first 2 dir is openable. STGAMES1-STGAMES4, TAKEOFF, TOOLS are not accessible. Using Alcohol 120% .
Winrar, and some other SW can not access mentioned DIRs too. What SW you use to mount ?

same here, STGAMES1-STGAMES4, TAKEOFF, TOOLS show as empty after buring to a cdr.
and more oddly, if i extract the iso using winrar, i only get the files in the root, no folders at all.

Well... proper bug report = proper check. Simple as that.

Now try this:

Thanx. This is OK now.
Instead proper bug report general advice: when you see that something full with LZH (or any other packed) files ZIPs to less than 90% of org. size - and bad image zipped to some 55%, then something is wrong.

also, I have these 'cdroms' - are any of them 'rare', I can extract and catalogue the contents at some point when I have time, then up them to unterground
