Hi,

I have found this information LGD:
The Adventures of Maddog Williams in the Dungeons of Duridian

Publisher SMG
Developer Gamecrafters
Release Year 1991

Reviewed in ST Format #28 Nov 91

I don't think I have the game but I'll do a sweep of the harddrive.

Take care

Hi! Would really want to play this on Steem, but cant get it running.

Can anyone tell me what settings i need to use to get it running? I only get to the point where you should choose if u want to use a ramdisc or not, then the game crashes or resets.

In a thread called Problems with Atari ST games (Page 2) Steem Authors writes "Just found out that this version of Maddog Williams works on Steem with the accurate disk access times option turned on, why didn't I try that before?". What version is he talking about and where can i change that disk access option in Steem?

Think i have tried to change all options that may affect the game, but maybee im wrong so please specify what setting (Memory size, TOS, choosen setting under General etc) you have used to get it running past that One Moment Please screen.

Steem v3.2 - you also must have the latest PASTI.DLL inside your STEEM folder.

Right-click on the options box, click on to the Pasti Configuration and there you can see the "accurate disk timings" option that you can turn on. The game will be a lot slower to load in, but at least it should work now.

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Muggy, the version ProToS has uploaded are MSA not Pasti images :!: Patu just select Accurate Disk Access on the pull-down menu (second to top) on screen grab above to load the game

Oops .. my mistake. I assumed (been a long time since 3.1!) that this menu was for Pasti only

Thanks guys, you have saved my day! :D

Yepp, i was using ProToS files, but that did not matter as mug's picture really helped alot. Steem Authors maybee used a pasti image, thats why mug got u a bit confused? :P

Not tried to run any pasti image yet so can use that info for future exploration of Steem.
