I bought it when it first came out. Used to love the old text adventures on my Spectrum so bought it on the strength of the Level 9 name :)

there was a pre-relese preview in ST Format. I remember it because they were going on about how good the road-side objects looked.

A game might have been developed/ported, reviewed and still never published for one reason or other.

It is hard to believe that a major game was released and nobody saw it. OTOH, it is even harder to understand how in earth Encounter was lost for all these years. So you never know for sure.

"Action Concept" was never released. I've met a former Titus author recently, who told me everything has been trashed, with no backup to his knowledge.
Who knows, maybe some day.

mcoder thinks he knows where it is but it's in amongst a pile of his disks somewhere judging by the last few messages he posted up here.

I have an original Annex disk/manual and the original LAPD Licenseware of Biohazard 1. I don't know if they are protected or not. If anyone needs a copy or a scan let me know.

I do recall seeing it listed in 'Special Reserve' the mail order software company......... and maybe Eagle Games. It may have been just a typo from the Amiga release?

It was featured in ST Action as nearly complete and STE enhanced!

St Format also showed Road Riot STE and maybe Steel Talons STE? 32 colours , etc.

Thanks

They were released on Falcon & Lynx.
Road Riot has to be the worst Falcon game ever. On the other hand the Lynx version is fantastic.

Hi,
Road Riot never played the Lynx version but going by the Stun Runner conversion... I guess I'm missing out!

I reckon a conversion of some of the Lynx games to ST/E Falcon might be an idea?!??!

Played Arcade Road Riot and Stun Runner. Race Drivin and Pit Fighter!

Definately billed in the ever authoritative!? STFormat as STE Games RR & ?

Thanks

Lynx Road Riot is only available as an almost complete proto. Expensive, yet definitely worth it.

About the Lynx to ST conversions: way too complex for a result that would probably be inferior to the Lynx original (unless you want to play Ms Pac-Man on the ST :P ). Don't forget the Lynx had hardware capabilities even the Falcon didn't have.

ST Format probably mistook the final F030 version of RR for an alpha STE game!

I remember reading an article about Road Riot. Development started on STe but the team couldn't make it to run fast enough so it was "converted" to run on Falcon instead.
