Hoog

Anyone know if theres a full version of this exellent game floating around anywhere? I used to have a fully registered copy back in the day but have no idea now where my old ST disks are currently gathering dust but would be good to play this again on Steem.

It was quite an achievement by Spiral mile with lovely parralax scorlling even on a humble STFM :)

I thought I had found it at Atari Legend, but it is also the Demo version, the download link does not state this fact :?

The game is indeed awesome,

Im just reading the readme from the demo.

It features over 50 onscreen colours and very smooth parralax scrolling. Was one of the few shareware games I registered back in the day. For registering you could get not only the full game but also the source code and sprite / joystick / sample routine. Shame I cant find my original disks, will try writing to the fella though I doubt the asdress given in the readme is current any longer.

So was it a case of registering to recieve a disk with the full version or registering to recieve the unlock code/patch?? :)
If it's the latter then all we need is a good Hax0r to unlock the demo

The Demo worked for me OK. I used TOS1.4 and 1MB RAM

Here's a full version of HOOG, aswell as a trained version of HECTOR on this menu from the BRAINDEAD BROTHERS... dunno if its number one... as it's unnumbered.

I can't get this to work on my STE... Any chance of a patched version?

What kind of error do you get?

The image has 11 sectors per track, some ST drives may not like this format.
I have attached a new image (same content, except for a removed graphics accelerator program you don't need) with 10 sectors/track.
You have to boot from floppy to get it running. Hoog works fine on my MegaSTE with TOS 2.05 and on Steem with TOS 2.06... :-)
