For sale: SPDIF Interface for Falcon 030.

The Digital Interface is the digital link between the SoundPool Digital Workstation and your DAT-recorder, CD-player or sampler. It contains high quality electronic components for perfect digital transmission of audio data in SPDIF Format (Sony Philips Digital Interface Format).
This Digital Audio Format is used in production studios as well as in consumer applications. It is audio data compatible with the related AES/EBU Format. Equipped with coaxial und optical in/outputs it is easy to connect to all units with SPDIF in/outs.

SPDIF Interface.
The SPDIF Interface is supported by all professional HDR systems on the Falcon platform (e.g. Cubase Audio, Logic Audio, AudioMaster and AudioTracker). Standard sample rates 48 kHz und 44.1 kHz are provided. In digital record mode it will synchronize and lock to the input sample rate automatically. The interface is connected to the Falcon's DSP Port. All settings are performed through the recording software.

Technical Details:

Coaxial In / Out: Cinch, SPDIF Format.
Optical In / Out: Toshiba TORX / TOTX, SPDIF Format.
Connector for Falcon DSP/Audio-Port: Sub-D connector.

I highly recommend this device. I personally use mine to play tracker music like Ace tracker, flex tracker, Falcamp for mp3s... most audio programs that use the DSP work with it. This way you can output pure digital sound out of your Falcon to a DAC of your choice, for the absolute BEST quality your Falcon can produce. It also gives your DSP the ability to output 32/44/48/50 khz, where by standard it can only do 32/50.
Falcon ct60e 060 - 256mb ram - phantom bus and dsp accel // Atari TT - Thunder and Storm IDE 64mb ram - Lightning VME - USB LAN - Ati Mach64 2mb // Atari STM 4160 - 4MB ram - 16Mhz exxos 1.5 booster - Ultrasatan
