Sold: Steinberg SMP 24

Postby dbsys » Fri Apr 06, 2018 9:53 am

This SMP 24 has ROM version 1.65 installed. It works very well. Optically it shows signs of being installed in a 19 inch rack.

The overall condition is good, considering that the unit is 30+ years old. Due to being installed in a rack the rack-ears show signs of the screws. But the unit is working fine, all buttons work, the display and all the connectors are in perfect condition.

I thoroughly tested it with Cubase 3.1 on an Atari 1040 STE. All MIDI I/O, Sync I/O and SMPTE I/O worked just fine.

I am asking for 95 Euros + 20 Euros shipping within the EU for an insured and tracked DHL Deutsche Post package. I will make sure the unit is professionally packed.

I will also provide a scanned version of the manual, the SMP 24 Editor software for Steinberg TewntyFour users and the latest MROS driver for Steinberg Cubase users.

Please note: This is the 240V version. It is not switchable to any other voltage.

Excellent device and a very affordable price. If you want I can notify on a facebook of Atari musicians or I invite you to do it.
I have both SMP models, please: can you share the SMP 24 Editor software for Steinberg TewntyFour?
Greetings.

Thanks Atarieterno. Yes and yes.

Please notify Atari musicians on Facebook, I do not have a Facebook account.

I will share the SMP 24 Editor software when I get home later today.

I suppose you have the manual in both languages: English and German.
If you need one, tell me and I'll share it here.

The scanned version I have is in English. I do not have a digital German version.

I add a good article explaining the possibilities of this device. Here it refers to the Pro-24 software but we all know that firmware 1.65 also allows its operation with Cubase.
I hope that your SMP-24 finds a good home for another musician who continues to use it.
Greetings.
