FS: My complete collection

Postby Dal » Tue May 24, 2016 11:54 am

Due to serious lack of time, work/family/music commitments and a potential move coming up, I have decided to sell my entire collection. OK - not quite 'entire' as I will keep my STE setup, an A1200 and the MiST, but everything else must go.

This is a job lot and the inventory is massive. To save repeating the entire thread, heres a link to the Amibay post.

Crap, I just noticed you posted that it's only for the entire lot and not individually.

Good luck, Some very nice rare items such as the CT60.

I'd be curious to know if you get any takers. I have always wondered if I could sell my collection as a job lot. I just don't have the inclination nor the time to sell bits off one at a time.

Exactly my predicament. I know I'm going to take a bit of a hit on it as a job lot compared to selling individually. But by the time I've put a value against the hassle of doing that, it comes out pretty close.

OMG, you have a commodore PET. Reminds me of old school days back at Bideford.
I debugged a program for my seniors on the PET (they were doing O level... yes it was that long ago), and before I knew it, I was asked to join the computer club.
I did not join because all I was interested in was playing games, not learning computers. I just became good at debugging because of all the misprint found in the games listing of magazines. LOL

Good luck... my guess is you will be asking for more than 1K quid... so that just put me out of the race.

*IF* the entire lot doesn't sell anytime in the near future, and if you would consider selling your ST Book separately, please let me know.

Thanks...

Alexh: if you ever sell your stuff, I FORBID you to sell the Thalion stuff without telling me first.

If you feel bad to sell the Thalion games you received as a gift, just give the sale money to charity, I will be twice happy about the transaction ;)

Interested in the games and the software if you decide to sell them seperately. Also Keops and ST Graveyard (and maybe some other friends?) may be interested, so we could split the games + software between us.

What a magnificent collection. I would like one of those Multifaces but it's a pity I can't afford a whole lot. The collection should be preserved by the national computing museum or something.
Still got, still working: Atari 4Mb STe, 520STFM, 2.5Mb STF.
Hardware: Cumana CSA 354, Ultimate Ripper, Blitz Turbo, Synchro Express II (US and UK Versions).

Cheers

Good Luck.

I've been doing mine piece by piece the past couple of years. Lots of effort goes into doing it separately.

I understand. I'm hoping the good price I'm willing to pay makes it possible. You gotta ask the question though...
