No dead pixels.

Really brilliant indeed, it's like a marketing thing. Just state there are no dead pixels
as a positive selling point and it WILL sell :) They really don't have a cloe do they...

And then this one on Ebay :
http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0353527563

2 x Falcon Mainboard, working ??? They don't know, partly working. If you take a close look a lot of fiddeling already has
been done on these bords. Esp. if you look rightside that board is missing a complete chip (prob. de co-processor)
because you can see that the brown chip socket is empty ! They are already at 100 euro and will rise above it much more.
I had the idea of just build it into a tower, but seeing that there is probalby more trouble to expect I stopt bidding.

Interesting auction. German description on Dutch ebay site. Had to run it through Babelfish twice to read it all!

Last weekend I traced 2 Falcon's down again. One for sale in France the other in Austria. Both went on sale
for about 250 euro each, so sales are still big on Falcons. Both didn't had much extra's the Austrian machine
didn't even had a mouse or a screen adaptor (VGA/RGB).

An mega STE on the other hand isn't worth anything (aperently), I got one for free !?!
4 Meg with TOS 2.06, with SCSI HD and fully working...It looked like crap (dirty and
sticky but not broken in any way). So a quick dis-assemble, plastic parts in the dishwasher
(yess really) and she looked almost new apart from a little yellowing...
The guy didn't know what he had :)

EXTRA message..

That is overpriced, I was looking myself over the last few days. I would have expected to get an internal HDD with it for that price. What a rip-off.

this makes me think I was silly buying a new wind 100+ netbook recently, and that I should sell it and buy this instead ...

Yep saw that to. Most people sell a complete selection of ST files on a CD (be it coverdisks, demos or whatever) - this guy sells a single demo!

It seems that no matter what you do nowadays on the Atari, your in the money.
It even better than in the old day's. Kind of makes you think, might even worthwhile
to make a game comercial again :) If people spend a fortune on old games what would
they do for a new one...
Seeing that a single "virtual" demo even makes money, then were is the end ;)

No more freeware, go for the money :D :D
(still got 2 orginal Confusion games with box and all, might be a fortune)

You don't know Confusion ?? An demo crew production (absence)... Falcon only but for RGB and VGA.
On 2 disks with a nice booklet ;) In a way to large box, but hey it's a looker.
Okay it's not very special by gameplay, but a comercial game made by an demo group.
Stil I don't know how much copies were sold, but...
Af far as I know it was almost 100% written in GFA basic (correct me if I'm wrong)

Image

And then for example ROX shouldn't do to bad these day's :)

Ah right .. Falcon games. I'd left for the PC when these kinds of things started turning up hence my lack of knowledge. Although a 100% GFA coded game is good :)

I won one of those a few weeks back for 99p. Much better condition. So I thought I'd offer the seller 99p. They came back with a counter off of £49.98.

Now I wonder if they're going to ever sell it.............

Some things are expensive... but I'm doing well on ebay so far. Managed to get my ST for £6.50 and for postage I had to travel to Somerset so I only had to pay petrol/toll fees. I'm quite please :D .
