Technically they are but all they are doing is using the name Atari. A brief view of their site reveals no mention of the Atari computer that they took the name from.

Yup, they just bought the name and the logo that's all...
To put it into perspective, it would be like me buying the word "Christianity" and the associated symbol of the Crucifix and trying to use them to sell scarecrows......

They are. The famous flashback 2. Do you know if they' ll be selling it in europe as I would really like to get hold of a couple of these joysticks. I have a few issues with my brother I would like to resolve over a game of Decathlon in the 8-bit and no other joystick can handle it.

Like it or not, they are "Atari" today, owned by the french group Infogrammes. Yes, they are selling the 2600 like consoles, FB2.

They didn't buy just the name, or the domain. They are current copyright holders of whatever rights Atari Corp had, including TOS.

Years ago there was still some hope with medusa, etc. but now...
The copyright on TOS is nearly worthless, it needs much more than a facelift today to get usefull again. It's only a memory
