EBay Chancer of the Week

Postby spiny » Tue Mar 03, 2015 12:25 pm

This doesn't deserve to be in the For Sale section :)

This just turned up in an Atari search on ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281608934002

yes, just under £20 for an old, generic, power lead.

anyone else spotted any 'bargains' lately ?

Maybe it's special because it takes English power

Atari STE Tos 1.62/2.06 | 4mb | Floppy A-B Mod | IDE SD 4GB

I saw that auction the other day. Within a few months of buying/collecting/hoarding ST software/hardware, you'll pick up at least five of those leads without even trying.

I don't suppose it even has "Atari" written on it or they would have highlighted it. Probably wouldn't pass PA testing.

My current favourite is the guy who listed a TT for £2,250. It didn't sell, so he relisted it today for £2,350! http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/151607634130
Maybe I'm underestimating the value of a Crazy Dots and 64MB RAM?

Why is it listed as not working ?! Crazy value either way.

It's a special power lead, that can handle *WOW* VINTAGE! electricity. Got to be worth the asking price

Maybe he could do an exchange for my equally valuable *AWESOME RETRO!* authentic keyboard fluff, that I dug out of my 1990 issue STE

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-ST1050-computer-with-SC2120-monitor-and-lots-of-software-music-etc-lot-/121583398355

I hope the bag of dog food in the picture is included

Got to be careful of those *WOW* VINTAGE cables. You all do know that it's best to have
whatever is plugged into it downhill from the source, right? Because the "juice" flows
better downhill...

At least it is not "Atari Falcon 030 Box" which goes for $1000+

I've seen just that many moons ago.

I was thinking exactly the same! I mean you could buy a pretty decent whole keyboard for that price.
