Ranks

Postby rb » Fri Jun 06, 2003 3:27 pm

hi

not that i really care much about it but out of curiosity I would like
to know how these ranks under the user name are given or set.

when i joined this message board i think i was something like retro freak, then it was atariator (what is that anyway?) and now i am atari user..

so what mechanism is there behind these ranks? maybe rank is the wrong
term anyway...

cheers
nosy rb

There was another post about this somewhere I think.....

But from what I can remember, 5 stars is awarded to someone who hosts an atari scene website (except me, boo hoo), and then the more posts you make increases your number of stars, its several hundred to get 4 isn't it?

And the little captions beneath change as you make more posts. I forget what I am now....

Hope this helps!

thanks lee

yes it was helpful...
so whenever i am not happy with my caption I have to write more more or less meaningless messages :)
And then about the stars.. doesn't the thought of running a super ST site count anything? worth a star or so?

well at least I gave you the opportunity to wave at the administrators, calling 'hi guys... you owe me a star or two'.... hehehe..

no serious now... i don't care about such things .. was just curious..
but who knows...maybe once netatari is finished i won't get a star but a supernova or even a black hole :P

cheers
