Winglord, registered version

Postby Gusset » Mon Jul 04, 2016 7:46 pm

Hi everyone,

I released a Joust-inspired shareware game around 1994 or so. By this time, I've probably gotten all the registration income I'm going to get :D , so here's the full version, in hopes that someone will get 5 or 10 minutes of enjoyment from it.

I wasn't able to upload the .PRG file due to it having an invalid extension, so I compressed it into a zip file, along with the text file that has background, instructions, and tips.

I hope someone enjoys it. It's intended to be played on an STe, but it will run on an ST (sound FX are minimal/boring, though, and graphics could flicker once in a while when things get crowded on the screen). Tested and works on Falcon and TT also.

I've played it with STeem and it works fine. Best played with a physical joystick, but a keyboard joystick is passable.

Cheers,

-Victor Bruhn

I tried it yesterday, really interesting gameplay additions!

I should try it with proper joystick though,
as left/right movement doesn't seem to get input on constant keyboard joystick emulation keypress.

Also i experienced a crash (on Hatari emulator) when the CPU player killed a bee (final bee of the enemies wave) with its spear.

Hatari emulation is probably not up to this game then it seems. ;)

Thanks for sharing this game!
