Lupo Alberto: unreleased game discovered!

Postby Philsan » Sat Dec 12, 2015 10:35 pm

Thanks to the game designer, graphic artist and musician, we now have the 25 years-old unreleased Atari ST version of "Lupo Alberto - The Videogame" (a game based on a famous Italian comic).
The game is complete, music apart (early demo version).

Nice game!
The cartoony graphics are good, with some fine colour choices.
Gameplay is fun, with good controls. And the non-scrolling screen switching doesn't destroy it.

Thanks for this!

That's the conclusion I also came too, often I hate those flip scrollers (like Carlos!) as they're just terrible. But Lupo has really fast flipping and it doesn't distract. I really am enjoying this game! Thanks (again!) Philsan :D

Tried in in Hatari - good fun. Can't wait to try it on a proper machine.

Thanks for getting it released! :)

I don't recall Allan doing any ST updates... I added the game to our database so if there's anything missing could you please re-send the missing pieces here?

Thanks :)

Thank you for adding the game to Atarimania database.
I sent it, together with infos, to AtariAge member Allan (December 11) because he updates Atarimania 8-bit section; I didn't know he doesn't update ST section too. He could have sent it to you then...

The only missing things are:
- the very nice original character drawing by the game designer, graphic artist and musician; you can find it in the last link of my initial post;
- the information that the game is complete, music apart (it's an early demo version).
