It takes some time to complete since there are hundreds of "levels" compared to a simple game that has maybe 10-20 or so.

Maybe farm out the level creation to others to spread out the work load?

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

if you already have 8 different colors for each tile row is it possible to make every row of tiles little bit darker towards upper and bottom side of screen?

Yes this is not any problem and I already did that on some rooms with lava inside. The red color get's stronger the closer to the lava you get.

Had been good ofcourse but I think noone would like to do it or get bored immediately, hehe.
It's also not so easy since the level editor is something I run from Visual Studio and some stuff I hardcode directly in C from time to time. I would have to write a manual to since there are alot of functions.

I'm a technical author by trade so scribble a few notes together and give me a compiled .EXE and I'll see what I can do :-)

I'm guessing you already have the original maps extracted?

Not sure I understand what you mean? There are no original maps since this is an original game. Everything is done from scratch.

Hehe, no it's not a port. EVERYTHING is done from scratch. Levels and graphics and in the future, music to.

Just tell us if there is anything we can help with Zamuel_a. Level design, artwork, music, I'm sure there are people that can and want to help with all those things 8)

I am so impressed about this project! I finally took the time and played the latest demo using Steem. It's really really great. :)

Sorry I'm being very dense here, but cant seem to find any links in the original post to the game, is it hosted anywhere else?

Well I'm working on it from time to time. It's not going fast but hopefully something will come out eventually ;)

Is the project on Github? Then people could harass you with pull requests and maybe add new features :)
