UK budget re-issue version of Iron Lord is in the PASTI section over here ... ===> viewtopic.php?f=90&t=18058
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

For my tests, i only compare the file containing maze data.
Until now, i always get the exact same file (after decompression for the ones packed with LSD or ICE).

I've checked around 10 versions of the game. If the game can be finished without hacking, I think the answer is in the binary and not in the maze data.
If someone provides disks of a working version on a real ST, i'll disassemble every parts of the code, be sure. But today, without exactly remembering if it exists...

I believe you, but you understand without those disks we haven't anymore clues :( .

According to this: http://ironlord.acornarcade.com/faq.shtml , not only the ST version has bug .
Will try to finsih this game, after some 2 decades .
Famous Schrodinger's cat hypothetical experiment says that cat is dead or alive until we open box and see condition of poor animal, which deserved better logic. Cat is always in some certain state - regardless from is observer able or not to see what the state is.

Hey Atarizoll, great game.
I've got pperas hard drive adapted Iron Lord running on a STE.
This version will save snapshots, so makes life a bit easier.
Going to give it a try now ! How are you getting on with it ?
Might have to cheat a bit with the walk through, looks quite a difficult game.
