I'm currently putting together a short article about the unofficial (and dreadful) Street Fighter sequel, Human Killing Machine. I planned to use the graphics from the ST version for illustration, as the sprites and backdrops were helpfully saved on the disk in PC1 format.
However, when I got the box for HKM out of the cupboard, the disks were missing and I can't find the bloody things! I tried the version on Automation 84, but the files are LSD compacted (I think) and aren't readable.
Does anyone have images of an original HKM copy? Any help would be gratefully received!
I actually had a brainwave and managed to extract the Automation PC1's by using MUGUK's superb multi-depacker. However there appears to be an error and one of the enemy characters "Helga" is missing, with her graphics replaced by a duplicated "Hans". The STX version is perfect though, for obvious reasons!
I imagine nobody noticed the Automation error because the game is ridiculously difficult and no fun to play
i remember cutting and pasting up a background for a very old demoscreen using backgrounds and characters from HKM. yes the game itself was incredibly tough (and crap) - i only remember defeating 3 opponents!
