www.mug-uk.co.uk - merged 2 websites into 1

Postby Mug UK » Sun Aug 08, 2004 1:05 pm

Finally had chance to visit parents house at the weekend and delete the old website for Atari stuff that was at http://come.to/muguk ..

All that's left to do is:
    a) update the tools page with the ones I've not yet added to the PHP code.

    b) get a small logo with a white background to replace the PHP Nuke logo currently in use.

    c) move across and add to the database all my PC-based trainers

    d) implement my Sega Master System/Game Gear training documents as they are based on an older version of the Meka emulator.

    e) Learn more about PHP Nuke so I can add more functionality.

Plus if anyone has any experience of PHP Nuke to get in touch ... mate who set it up would answer questions, but he's a full time developer of websites! Even he's allowed quality time :)

    f) Put some other surveys up! Thanks to those who've voted so far :)

So if you'd like to take a look and post comments here or email them to me directly, let me know what you think.

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Image

I'm not quite happy white the color scheme of the text but still it better be changed to fit your needs/desire..

[Edit :] I may definitely redraw the text filling because the more i watch it, the more i (let's say) dislike it but till that time...

That's fantastic .. better than I would knock up in Logo Creator by a long shot!

Only problems are:

a) I do PC, Sega and Atari cheats .. any chance of sticking those logos somehow in the background ... but leave the Atari one more prominent :)

b) Either add (or I will add via text if the PHP will let me) "Cheats Always Prosper"

Other than that it's fantastic - can you email the pic as well. Working away from home until Thursday so can't do anything until then. Can you also (if you have one) send me a link to your site with more of your artwork so I can add you to the bottom?

Also... and only if you're bored .. if you want to edit any of the other icons (i.e. the Downloads one) then feel free.

Ok, i will add these, but i wonder what kind of font/symbol i could use to stand a PC.

This is no problem at all. I'll mail you a modified version this night or tomorrow.

I'm not quite interested in being linked all over the web (sounds paradoxical ?), and my websites don't deal that much about my drawing limited abilities. I'll add a discrete signature in the logo if i feel in need of fame and glory. In case of, just mention logo has been made by RaZ/TheLAB.

We'll see 8)

How about nicking the one they use on the front of every PC game released? Just seems to be the letters "PC" in white on a black background (but reverse this as it might look a bit awful on your work of art above!)
