New Atari leker!

Postby Nordis71 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 11:41 am

Hi,

I have bought a Atari 1040 STE and now starting to learn programming on it. Previously I have been an Amiga user but now I would like to learn something new:-)

Regards

Someone translate that "leker" into common English, please ?
I'm not against GMO, I'm against that children play with fire.

Hi,

Thanks for the welcoming! The word "leker" was something that the speller on my phone throw in that sentence. It should have been user! Do anyone know any good Atari ST programmingsites that I could visit?

Google translate.
Norwegian to English.
leker is: starts with t and ends with s, and is 4 letters long.

Apologize, Dutch spelling is Lekker

That's a hard one :)

My wife is from the Netherlands, Leker was the first Dutch world I learned.
It can be used for many things.

Using in an English sentence:

The sandwich is "Leker".
The beer is leker (take your right hand, place it up near your right ear and move it front to back in a slight horizontal arc). You don't have to say Leker, that action has the same meaning.

For the most part, leker is used for drink and food.

But just as in the English language:

Oh boy, that girls legs are leker!

leker tv.

I know what it means, but my English (only been speaking it 52 years) isn't good enough to put it into words. Maybe it could be described as a sensation something or someone gives you.

Atari? Fricking leker!

Hi,

Funny how a misspelled word can bring such many answers :D I find this friendly forum very nice compared with some Amiga forum that I have been looking at. It's a nice start on my Atari voyage. I comes from Sweden and the word "leker" means play.

Your guides are:

Atari ST Internals (pdf of the book here: http://www.atarimania.com/documents/Ata ... ernals.pdf )
Easy-to-lookup reference tables: http://retrospec.sgn.net/users/tomcat/m ... ernals.htm
Example source code: http://dhs.nu/files.php

... and of course the coding section of this forum ;)
