I had a Falcon that used a flash drive from Corsair. Also a 1Gb model. Worked really nice indeed !
Connected it straight to the motherboard connector. But as far as I re-call it was a 44 pins module (not 100% sure about that)

DOM has been used on Falcons for many years now.

It works on Falcon or some ST(E) with IDE adapter, but I think that better is to get some CF card - they are cheaper - can get 4GB for that price. Additional benefit is that you can attach it to PC via card reader. Will need adapter in any case - 44 to 40 IDE, or IDE to CF.
Famous Schrodinger's cat hypothetical experiment says that cat is dead or alive until we open box and see condition of poor animal, which deserved better logic. Cat is always in some certain state - regardless from is observer able or not to see what the state is.
