I'm hugely disappointed ! There is no game what Steve Gregory himself recommended to me: Potsworth & Co. in magazine . Really well made platformer ...
Just kidding, of course. I'm sure it will find it's place in some of next releases. Nice work AtariCrypt

I've posted feedback elsewhere, but i'm going to add my thoughts here as well...

This really is a stunning piece of work.

I'm no stranger to the art work Greyfox and had read and loved your interview with Andrew Gisby, so i knew if you pair got your heads together, we'd be seeing something special, but i kept my expectations somewhat in check, after all, this was free content, the ST had been covered by likes of ST Gamer Volume 1, 2 and to a much lesser extent by RetroGamer magazine (i mean seriousily, Thunderburner used as an example of a game that pushed the ST? Trantor:Last Stormtrooper suggested as an ST game you check out?...really.....?) so i was thinking i'd find a nice selection of the 'Collected works' as it were of the ST....

Instead i had my eyes opened and then some...

Being a lowly STFM owner who's STE owning mate had so few games which used the hardware, the exact nature of which games used the hardware on the STE and how, totally passed me by and i'd never of expected Chronicles Of Omega to be the 1st commercial game to tap into the potential.

It was the down to earth, open, balanced look at ST games period, mixed in with superb interviews and all served up in lashings of Greyfox art that made this the complete ST Xmas parcel for myself.

This, along with this month's EDGE magazine doing a superb 8-page Making of Speedball II feature (ST mentioned in depth at times and fact made clear sprites of Speedball II done on Amiga 1st), that has restored my faith that the ST won't be forgotten.....

And there are talented artists, writers, reviewers still out there willing to put in the hours, for the community.

So a bloody big thank you to you both.

Man thanks for your wonderful and insightful comments Lost Dragon, AtariCrypt was quite versed from his experience with the ST series for which struck a cord with me and his dedication ws second to none, made it very esy for me to see a big potential to go to the final example of both our love for the ST machine, so this ws a great opportunity for me to go out with a bang and boy ws it a great bang!

Although I won't be doing anymore future Atari ST projects , I will continue to stay within its confines and will still throw in my opinion when needed, Steve will carry the Torch on behalf of AtariCrypt in helping it be seen as a great Atari ST fan site and news site it deserves to be. I gracefully exit out back stage from here out. I now wish to give all the other wonderful platforms I loved very much get some limelight now.

Again many thanks for your kind words.

Darren.

:) Free or not, had it of been poor, i would of been just as quick to voice and explain why...

Seriousily though, i do feel it's because the project was clearly born from not only a love of the hardware, but also the fact your both very skilled in your fields, simply meant this was never going to be anything but ruddy special.

It's what sorts the real community players out from the wannabe media personality types, who despite being ST owners then and indeed now, lack that crucial understanding at times...

When i'd read statements like ST Defender Of The Crown appeared before Amiga version, i'd inwardly die..as it was clear writer had no idea of ST in the USA...

Or claims like ST Robocop was 100% conversion of Data East coin-op..or Tiertex's Strider II was used by Capcom for the coin-op version.

School boy errors like this, simply copy n pasted from online/magazines etc could of easily of found there way in and glossed over by a claim of:well, it's free you gotta expect.....

But here, i was llike...YES!!!! not only myself frustrated by STFM Pac-Mania... :)

The art, content, whole damn package, just set a new benchmark for ST coverage.
