Thanks! It can now run on Steem w/o any crashes. Nice to see arcade perfect ports on the ST for a change... :)

Thx for sharing, great game, very true to the original arcade version.
did you use any of the arcade code, or is it a complete new version?

No, no.. Its a complete "new" version as it were... Wrote it in Assembly.

It actually started as a learning exercise for learning ASM and turned into the game. I already had the sprites from the STOS version and needed to learn how to do sprites.... and the rest, they say, is history ;)

Works fine in Hatari and also with EmuTOS.

It refuses to run on TT or Falcon (Hatari emulation). Could those checks be post-poned until final version, so that people can test whether / how well the game works on them?

Btw. It would be good to mention in the first post that although it lists the changes, it doesn't contain the latest version of frogger, one needs to get that from later post.

Not really, its not going to work on either machine... so rather than let people look at a black screen and/or crashing their systems, I simply decided not to allow them to get that far lol...
It was only ever going to be an STFM game.. if it worked on the TT or Falcon then that was a bonus... it doesnt lol :) and I really dont have many intentions to fix for it.. To me, yes there are falcon owners and TT owners but the number of those using real machines versus those that use real STFM's or STE's is far smaller and thus not worth the effort. Im sure when you're playing Evolution Dino Dudes or the TT Version LLamatron of it all balances out ;)

Im sorry if the TT and Falcon owners feel that once again, they've not been catered for, but this was a learning exercise and without the machines OR the knowledge to write for those machines properly it'd be a lot of hit and miss .. even problems caused by the MSTE threw up nearly a weeks worth of work for me and I'm not exactly paid by the hour for this

It would be good to mention in the first post that although it lists the changes, it doesn't contain the latest version of frogger, one needs to get that from later post.

I'll probably re-do this thread once I get the game out, hopefully in the next week or so... Im waiting on my sound man :P
But i WILL give up the links to Atarimania so people CAN get the latest version.
