New SainT v2.14

Postby leonard » Sun Dec 27, 2009 2:50 pm

Hi all,

sometimes I upgrade SainT to support new STE demos and I forget to release it :-) Here is the 2.14 made after seeing the fantastic "Cernit Trandafir" demo by DHS. Now that demo works perfectly on SainT. Get it on my website:

Thanks Leonard, nice to see you are keeping this lovely emulator updated. I'm always happy when people make their emulators more STE compatible too!

"Cernit Trandafir" demo by DHS is too big for a floppy, how do I use it with SainT?

Thanks!

No that great demo came with two options: HDD and Floppy version! Great stuff (every demo should come at least with floppy version)

Great to hear that SainT is getting more an more STE compatible!

But how can i run STE stuff? SainT recommend TOS 1.0 which is of course not STE compatible. I tried TOS 1.62 and 2.06 instead but both doesn´t work - just get a white screen and nothing happens.

Atari 1040STE, TOS 2.06, 4MB, MC68010, IDE 8GB SSD, Gigafile

oh you're right there is still some bugs with various TOS.

I personnaly use TOS 1.02 wich work like a charm with various STE demos under SainT.

Cheers,

Thanks for the update. Great to see that SainT now runs the titles that were discussed in the sync scrolling thread. :D
