My thanks go to Ppera and his amazing Drive Image tool .. I've plugged in the 1 Gig SCSI that was used to backup a load of the disks in MSA, PASTI and FCOPY Pro format and, after making an image of it, I've managed to copy off everything off the drive.
Many, many, many thanks for such a useful damned tool.
Plugged it into a spare USB caddy I have which always has the lid off to get the power to the drive, connected the drive to the SCSI cable which seems to spend 99% of it's life on the floor doing nothing. Ran the tools, made the image and then extracted the filed.
It *even* allowed me to backup all the files that I thought were lost as the drive was corrupted slightly (no idea why) so all the files that used to be on the internal 240Mb that came with the TT and were backed up onto the 1Gig have (99%) also been recovered.
Expect a few file tests of the disk images and an upload shortly to Marcer's FTP site sometime this week
