Thanks for updating the drivers!
Are the new v3.00 Mach64 drivers (released on Jan 31) compatible with Lightning VME or should I use the older TT_Mach64L release?

As stated on the website: "vdi fix (vro_cpyfm)". The error is described in this thread.
Each new version usually includes all new developments (like new DAC support, VME Lightning support, etc.). Performance changes would only occur because of refactoring. At present, I do not even benchmark new versions, since this is low on my priority list and likely to introduce new errors.

I only see a ISA version for Hades at the website. Do you plan for a new PCI version?

I can't test anything on Hades. Do you happen to have this configuration?

Yes, in my hades060, I have a mach64 in the first pci slot. I also added the extra 2mb memory module to the card for a total of 4mb video ram.

Here is the driver that is on the system currently and was there when I bought the machine. The time stamp is June, 1996! :D

Not sure about the ATT20C490 on the MACH32. I don't own this chip/dac combination.

HI,
I have just test a new verion v3.00 for ATI MACH64 ISA on TT + NOVA and compare with initial verison from 2016 years from IDEK web page. All tests were done at the same resolution 1024x768x8 bit. In Kronos application VDI test for v.3.00 is a little slower than original veraion
11.8 (v.3.00)
13.9 (initial version)

Additionally please look at a photo a a fill circle are not regular like in first version
What do you think is it normal ?

I have a problem running the 1280x1024 resolution on my Mach32 card and a MegaSTE. I'm using the latest drivers from February. The lower resolutions work very well and the card gives a very good picture on a Benq BL702A.

In the highest resolution I get a strange picture with doubling of objects. The mouse pointer moves as expected across the entire screen, however.

The card is a Graphics Ultra Plus. I'm not sure wether it has 1MB or 2MB on the card. It was advertised as 1MB but has all sockets populated.

I was thinking it might be faulty RAM but swapping and replacing SIMMs in the Atari makes no difference and I think the memory is OK. Could it be faulty RAM on the card or could it be a driver issue? Something else I might have missed?

Regards,
Carl

Looks to me like a timing issue. This also seems to be a ...003 version of the Mach32. There are quite different Mach32 versions out there that unfortunately support different hardware acceleration functions.
The main reason is probably the DAC. I am not sure about the maximum frequency for the 68875AFN, but ATI certified the 68875 for max.

Please try these resolutions and report back
