Whilst there is a lot of demand for a PC-like case for ST/Falcons the ones that get started are to fill a personal gap or goal. They're developed by one person and the project gets very complex looking at different motherboards and expansion boards.
That's fair enough if the developer has a need for a specific case but it comes back to the main thought - lots of people would like a new case for their ST or Falcon plus expansions.

This particular thread is to build a new TT case initially.

This thread came to the conclusion to build a lid for ST/Falcon, which seems to be the right approach (keeping ports in place and costs down).

I agree there is no point re-doing the bottom of a case but there are challenges to get a case to fit over an ST or Falcon case.
