ATARI N386SX Laptop schematic

Postby Trafo » Thu May 10, 2018 3:04 pm

Hello,
I have complete Atari N386SX laptop. Unfortunately, it does not work.
My friend corrected the power supply and voltage converter on the motherboard.
For further repairs, he needs a motherboard schematic.
Anyone have a schematic on this laptop, please?
Thank you very much.

Tomas

There is this site http://www.ataripc.net/
I sent him some PSU schematics. Unfortunately that's all I have found.

Maybe it is just me but couldn't see the schematic there. Would you able to share with me? Please.

As you might know I posted about the similarity of the librex and atari 386sx before.

Both of the librex spares I have has problems but both the motherboards seem to be ok. One of them has actually psu board problem that came from the Atari so the scematic would be extremely useful to have. It is on my todo list for a while.

Other one has display backlit probs. I don't want to be out of spares completely, rather repairing them so at this point I only say that i have two compatible motherboards. If servicing won't take you anywhere I might be able to help but again no promise. And you might not even need or want this kind of help anyway.

One of my lixbrex laptops is not with me at the moment I need to get it back first.

Nah I did not miss it just read your first comment wrong. For some reason I thought I will find the n386sx’s psu boards schematics there but its not.
Thanks anyway for the link useful to have.

I need to know most what voltage is at the output of the plate that is above the motherboard.
Could someone measure it, please? It would be a great help.
Sorry for my bad English. :-)
