Hello, I am searching a free and good NFS server software for Windows 7 to serve my EasyMiNT client. I already tryed three different, but only one is useable with restriction:
- https://sourceforge.net/projects/freenfs/ (looks like EasyMiNT can't use this one)
- https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/30 ... sg=4719043 (very slow, so slow that I even don't get to the problem of the 3rd.
Until now the last one is the best, but large directorys are displayed empty. Example, a folder which contains 510 files is displayed empty in Thing and shell (ll, ls, etc.). Smaller diretories are working fine, even folders with spaces in name work fine ("Atari software"). When the folder is smaller (less files or subfolder), then I can access them and copy files in and out.
But for exampe I have a folder which exsist locally on a BGM TOS partition and the same also is available on the NFS sharen(it's the backup of the local folder, copied via ZIP drive). This folder contains 510 files. On the local BGM partition it is displayed with all files, on NFS it is empty.
So to find out what is going on I like to verify with other NFS servers, to see if the problem is related to NFS server or MiNT kernel or NFS.XIF.
If the new NFS server software would be able to export more than one share at the same time even would be better, the above three only support one. Any tipps (it should be free software (PD, OpenSource, Freeware)) ?
