Closing windows in Magic, prevent booting Magic

Postby dual82 » Fri Aug 11, 2017 7:11 pm

I recently saved a early rev TT030 from the trash. I was very dirty, but fortunately in very fine condition, no scratches and little yellowing. The only faulty parts were 8 x 1MB simms mounted on Mighty Mic 32 ram board. I replaced them with 4 x 4MB ones.

The unit contains a 525MB SCSI hard drive with Magic V5 installed on it. After playing with it, Magic is driving me crazy: i'm not
able to close windows, only maximize or iconize. Secondly is it possible to prevent Magic to boot, and go straight to TOS?

Holding down alt during boot should bypass all autofolder programs, or rename the files to PRX instead of PRG in the autofolder.

That's odd, Magic runs lovely on my TT, it is the only machine it runs on that actually boots with a colour boot image as well, which is nice. Perhaps there is another program autobooting effecting the button behaviour.
