Hello Florinel!

If you have checked your disk with an Antivirus on the Atari
then your disk should be fine.

Most games on atari is using a bootloader. And as you can hear
from the name it boot the game and load it. Don't wanna go in to details

However, if you are using an antivirus program it will warn you of
something dangerous in bootsector, that is because a bootsector virus
uses a similar code to launch virus as a bootloader uses code to load the
games.

On the other hand, if you have a PC antivirus and you are detecting a
virus that is absolutely 100% recognized virustype, then it is
another thing.

But please remember, that the virus only survives in executables and
in binary code that is being executed. And in the proper environment.

I mean there is no chance that the virus will survive in a atari emulation and therefore not affect anything, but can do damage in let say a Windows Operating System.

So before you do anything rational do some research about the
origin of the virus.

I hope that this will help you.

I believe it me wrongly understood!
I have 2 Computers 1. ATARI Falcon 030 and
2. PC compatible Computer with AMD 2600 XP!
The play has in former times well
functioned however with the time the BOOT disk broken went! The BOOT
disk has many defective sectors! I examined it with the E_copy!
Therefore I need a copy of the boots disk from you. The play has
altogether 4 HD disks, one boot disk and three Instalations disks! Now
as one copies best BOOT a disk? it mash over InterNet to be
transferred and then again to disk be back copied! Then it must
function still! Therefore I thought perhaps for packing with the MSA
or ST! Does someone have a better ide? I have E_copy and F CoPy pro,
msacomp-1.12 and wfdcopy-1.02
perhaps an image file, I means genuine one 1:1 copies
Look here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wfdcopy/
