Can anyone post pictures of Falcon games?

Postby goldman » Fri Feb 28, 2003 11:45 pm

Im still deciding if I want to go on with the Falcon Emulator.

I was wondering if someone could post a few pictures from some good looking atari falcon games. The better looking the better.

I tried Google but it didn't work out.

I won't promisse anything. I can't make screenshots, i'm too dumb for that :p
But i'll see if it's possible to make any ok quality pics with a digi cam.
Remind you that all games released by atari don't look good at all. (low res. maybe 256 color mode. I've seen much and much better gfx on ST low) LLamazap is prolly the best looking. In fact it's the only atari game thats fun to play. Now i don't have the Ishar series, robinsons reqium and transartic??. Maybe they are better looking?

hi ayreon,

in fact the ishar series and robinsons requiem are using just the 256 colour mode but who cares, they look quite good anyway in comparison with the st versions...

killing impact looks quite nice, running for the possibilities of the falcon too, painium desaster and the xmoon preview are also neat little eye teasers

painium screenshots can be found on the net via google btw...

yours, eric

I don't have all those games :(
My Atari stood still for a few years.. not that i wanted it that way but not much choice. So i missed a lot of games and demo's.

Running looks very cool. The games by Logitron look very nice as well, shame my french just suck so i couldn't figure out if they have them in stock or anything.

Anyhow.. I wasn't critisizing the 256 color mode. I believe it can be very good looking. But when i see the stuff by tengen/ domark. i.e. steel talons and 4wd it just looks sad.

hi ayreon...

you´re right, the whole bunch of the "atari" games, except llamazap looks very boring, sometimes it looks like 32 colours only or something... :/

greetings, eric

ps... the shareware version of running is available on several ftp´s
and painium desaster can be leeched from http://www.anvil-soft.de
