It's an SDL port, so requirements are likely higher than for a "native" application. Works with Aranym (picture) and probably Firebee as well.

Since Lopan is pretty much just standard Mahjong Solitaire, I don't think it makes sense on the STE, TT or Falcon as there are already plenty of ports available. Peking works on classic systems but crashes on the Firebee.

Could you put the links to your two ports (Lopan and MinivMac) on your website as well? The download links will otherwise be hard to find after a while...

Need a bit memory, 256 colors or more, 640*400, 68020 minimum, in 256 color load is a bit long at 16Mhz!

Here under Hatari Falcon emulation, 64K resolution is limit but it display, it work too in 256 colors

To be able to run SDL, add in mint.cnf or myaes.cnf

export SDL_VIDEODRIVER=gem

Thanks, Olivier. This works great on the FireBee. And it looks lovely. If you have the time please announce it on the ACP mailing list.

Update of archive, the 68000 version is now really a 68000 version (wrong version copied of SDL it was 68020-60)
New version 68020-60 available, small SDL update coldfire version (nothing important).
Source code include

Tried normal + 2060 versions on CT63 ( @93MHz ) but in TOS mouse is frozen and in MiNT its rather slow to be playable ( mouse works fine )
Did anyone with CT'ed Falcon has any success with this game or its rather for more powerful machines?

This is really strange because on the FireBee the game is very fast and I wouldn't think a 'Bee is that much faster than a Falcon060. Must be something other that the hardware.

Will check it more this weekend on other games, but I doubt its software related, as it is quite fresh install of Easymint 1.9 just with Jinnee replaced with latest Teradesk and NVDI in auto folder. Nothing more on my current software setup.

As with TOS, the mouse in this game is completely frozen. Did anybody with CT6x run it fine in TOS?

Hi.
I have tested it with different configs and I found this result on my Falcon.
CT63+SV+TOS: Both versions works fine and are fast.
CT63+TOS: Both versions freezes the mouse at startup.
CT63+SV+EasyMINT 1.9: Both versions are slower and the mouse freezes after some seconds of playing.
Atari Falcon, 14Mb RAM, CT60e, Supervidel, Svetlana, 512Mb RAM, 8Gb CF.
Atari Falcon, 14Mb RAM, CT63, 256Mb RAM,4Gb CF.
Firebee Series 2, 16Gb CF, 2Gb SD, MEGA ST Keyboard and Atari Mice.
Atari 2600 4-switch Woody

I'm working on an update of it, should use far less power.

Strange for mouse freeze, I never test it under TOS always with Mint, I would like be able to run it correctly under Falcon 16Mhz, there is a little bit work ;-)

I think this software should be far faster in true colore or near true color than in 256 color

Great. Thanks for the test!
I have SV but on my new setup still not installed, so this should be enough solution for me :)

For the moment no update, but I can said this:

- High reduce of load under Mint OK
- Select a card under Falcon 16Mhz is done at correct speed OK
- Second card removing still very very slow, more difficult to fix, I think it work on computer with fast ram, a lot of redraw, this is why it is so slow.

Hello

I have updated the archive:

- High reduce of the system load under multitask system
- Select first card is now very fast
- Select the second card is twice faster than before (still around 6 seconds under Falcon 16Mhz :-( )
- Start speed near no change

It have been tested under Mint 1.19 + MyAES Aranym and Hatari Falcon Mode

Ok looks crash was link to configuration in xbios mode while I test only in GEM mode

So now by default driver used is GEM, if you want to use xbios driver it is still possible adding environment value
export SDL_VIDEODRIVER=xbios

But I think GEM driver is far enough for this game!

Thank you Olivier!
But I did just a quick test on my FireBee and V4e version is unplayable while the older version works just fine.
The game starts but then you can not click on the tile ESC, F1 ,F2, F3, Return key just dont work.
Also TERM signal doesnt close the game and the KILL signal takes about a minute to game is killed.

But I had no time to do more tests.

In the previous version you were running with SDL_VIDEODRIVER=gem ?

I'm going to try with XaAES if I can start it
