I have not my TT anymore, i sold it because i have a CT60 Falcon, but when i had it i did many tests to find compatible games.
I try to remember some compatible games for:

Chuchu rocket
Test Drive (1 and 2 if i remember well, from floppy)
Gaunlet 3 (from dbug)
Mercenary 2 and 3 (from dbug, excellent games!)
Hard drivin'2 (i needed to boot it directly at start on the floppy disk, version cracked by elite)
Operation Stealth (started from the hard drive with cache off)
Monkey island (copy floppy on the hard drive and launch, nothing to do)
Teenage mutant hero turltles (from floppy)
Castle Master (the first one, i remember the exec was M.PRG, try to find this version, it ran very well)
Formula one grand prix (from dbug)
Outrun (dbug)
After the war (dbug)
Cruise for a corpse (dbug version)

In fact it's the worst atari machine for playing games... it wasn't made for this purpose.
I can't remember others games for now

I had a kind of boot disk to increase in some case compatibility with games, but i didn't really tested it, i discovered this thing only few days before i sold it. But on the few games it tested it didn't gave any miracle.

I got one TT for testing purposes for some time. It is not really good for gaming, true. But not much worse than Falcon. In some things is even more compatible - as DMA sound. Bad is that CPU can not be slowed down - runs always at 32 MHz, what may result in too fast gameplay.

With some setting tools compatibility may be increased: turning off fast RAM for instance - in fact it resets PMMU what is good for games using very low RAM.

Adding 2 very good games to 'list': Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes Back - PP hard disk and Desktop runnable fixed.
I will soon do corrections by lot of games, so they will run happily on TT :D

It worked worse on Falcon than I thought after first tests, so I spent some hours more - and now is stable on Falcon too. Even gamex works (exit to Desktop), but need to start from ST medium res (on Falcon only). Why is it so ? Something with weird IKBD code of game where mouse movement area is given .

So far I updated about 70 game adapt's for TT . All it can work on TT with 2MB RAM . It works with Hddriver (SCSI and ACSI) or mine driver (ACSI only) .
Not with AHDI, as it uses not regular (by AHDI 3) codes for SCSI devices - 8O But I don't care for it, as AHDI is too slow on TT (at least 2x slower than Hddriver) .
I can say now that TT is little less compatible than Falcon - there is more game that runs not after added TT support. There are some usual things easy to fix as writing in Video sync. reg. , but I have some 10 titles where don't know why stuck on TT (while run on Falcon).
One of reasons why game may fail on TT is using more than 24 bits in addresses. It is fortunately fixable by proper programing of PMMU - so that it reduces address bits to 24 . It is case with Loder Runner and Fire and Forget. Lode Runner made me lot of troubles - it has bugs in XBIOS IKBD write call, which causing crash only on TT. Then it worked, but with graphic issues and malformed screen. Likely bugs and overshots in code. Makes problems only on TT - but fixable without deep digging in code with mentioned shrinking to 24-bit addressing. Now only problem with Lode Runner (and Fire and Forget too) is that they run too fast on TT, so must add some slowdown to be playable. Hopefully will post them tomorrow ..

Yeah, Elite II runs great on the TT! Def higher frame rate, although I did have a crash, when using one of my hard drives. Prob the hard drive driver. But this prog is def more playable, and less choppy. I played this loads in the 90's, and if I did have the time, I would take the old Panther out for a spin.

Sim City runs great on the TT. And also interestingly it works really well with NVDI !!!!

Try NVDI with it, on an ST as well, and the windows drag much better. I also found it works well under Magic multitaking!!!

Best and most used tool is Steem Debugger. You need good 68000 ASM knowledge, ST(E), Falcon architecture knowledge and plenty of time. Yes, it is highly skilled in most of cases, but in rare case may be simple. But you don't read what is written, and don't look proper pages ... :D

Just found this thread now, and what an interesting article! Fixing games seems like fun really... I wonder how many could be fixed just by removing the "A:\" and such?
For the harder ones... I remember spending a long time trying to figure out the directory structure of some games like F1GP using KnifeST etc... and completely failed :)

I've translated it several years ago to English [1] when I got OK from its author to change its sources to GPL license and ANSIfy them so that they work with newer C compilers like AHCC [2].

[1] http://koti.mbnet.fi/tammat/hatari/devel.shtml (see the bottom of the page, you need to build the sources yourself though)

Thomas Huth has ported Ballerburg to SDL so that one can run it e.g. on Linux:

Any idea which of the TT games would run in TT HIGH mode?

I heard that there was a version of Stone Age and Oxyd Magnum that was supposed to work. But none did so far.

Some time ago I discovered a game with native TT support by mistake (started Hatari as TT and not as ST as intended): "Gettysburg".

The game normally runs in ST low, but on TT it runs in TT med (640*480*16 colors) and scales the 3D graphics accordingly.

Sadly not. If not started in TT medium it puts a message to switch to TT med and stops.

Too bad Chaos Engine and Leander doesn't have music ingame on Atari, they feel incomplete without it.. Maybe it's better without it if you play the horrible WolfChild though

Ballerburg looks like a pretty cool game, what else artillery/worms games are there for ST?

Whoa now! Wolfchild is one of my favorites. (Yes I finished it on Atari ST)
