It has not been released. That for sure..

thing is, the game have to be played until the end to be sure its a proper crack, they were a bit too lame to finish the game, also the reason the game never got finshed (crackwise).

I do have one IDE drive from Pervert, which I never tested as he told me it crashed, so if there is any copy of it.. then its on that drive.. or maybe orby have a copy aswell.. that I dont know, as I dont speak to often with orby these days..

Yeah, a crack would have been nice. It's a good game (and a very sensitive one, i tried to record a vid and it kept complaining about timing settings.

Is there any news recently as to how to correctly dump the game? Also i recall from the vid and coc manuals that there was an expansion pack button in the game menu. Did one ever get made?

Unfortunately not. They have never made an extension disk. :-(

So if Nick's ran out how are we going to get this game?

Won't Nick have details of the people he sold working copies to? Perhaps contacting one of them might prove fruitful!

I'll second this with another question: did someone attempt to image the disks with a kryoflux drive? This could perhaps work!

additionnally has anyone contacted the ones who worked on the coc crack aside from mikro? A joint effort could prove useful!

This is something I'm interested in getting. I've drooled over the description at 16/32 systems for years, hoping to buy a copy if I ever got a Falcon. Now I finally have a Falcon and there are no more left to buy? Also, I've been a bit confused by this thread, am I to understand that even the released game that 16/32 systems sold was not a complete game? Or just that expansion disks haven't been released?

I downloaded the demo version, but It's to big to transfer via floppies, so i have to wait until I get another high-volume memory transfer set up (as in USB drive, or Zip drive, or CDR/rom drive, etc.)

when the right hand falters and the left hand strays,
that mankind shall come to the Crossroads of Twilight and all that is,
all that was, and all that will be shall balance on the point of a sword,
while the winds of the Shadow grow.-From 'The Prophecies of the Dragon'

The latest version of CoC was able to run on the 68040 CPU too (by loosing the ingame music because the 68040 did not like the groumpf tracker).

Guys, why disable the copy protection?
Installing is no problem from original disks.
You can move the installed files around iirc.
And the installed game is playable, if you have the manual and casing from the game, or copies of those items - just like it is with Spacola or Oxyd.

A while back I tried to buy the game, but Björn said he had trouble finding floppy disks or getting the files onto disk.
Greetings, Jens

The game requests that you insert the original disk at the 14th mission or so..

As far as I remember the game has 14 missions only. I can not remember the need of inserting the floppy disk for the last mission. O.o

It definitely asks for the original disk, that is sure. But I don't remember after which mission.
