Hello,

Are there any sources (asm) anywhere for this demo?

I'm interested in any information about the Fractal Cube!

Many Thanks

Ashley

Nativ,

The sources are available, not sure where but I downloaded them in 97 or 98 and I can tell you that the cube is done by mapping pre-calculated snapshots of the fractal onto the surfaces and then zoom between them to make it look smoother.

Not incredibly exciting I'm afraid.

Fredrik.

Don't be afraid

not exciting !!!!!!!!!!

I'm foaming at the mouth??!?!?!?

(note to self:- Alka Seltzer needs to go in water first.)

I haven't run the demo on the Falcon yet..... Just saw it on youtube!

The Cube looked nice and smooth.... but if it's not 100% realtime then that probably why!

I'm slowly getting around to DSP... so any infos i'm finding useful.

Many thanks

Fredrik.

great demo huh (except for the boring endpart ;))

deez is right about that zoomer. prerendered is the way most ppl do it. there are also ways to avoid the 'jump' when changing from one prerendered frame to another.

Is there a patch to run it on 50 Hz RGB monitors?
It only runs on my multisynchro one...
