TCB Tracker stuff (again)!!!

Postby Nev (Orbital Software) » Sat Nov 27, 2004 1:02 pm

I know i'm a pain in the arse, but i've managed to get the TCB tracker, can anyone supply me with the MDemo 3 & 4 TCB Tracker files please?

Also, can someone(if you've got any spare time) write a TCB to MOD converter costhat would be sweet. I'm gonna be doing some complex remixes of some of those choons(using upto 32 channels), so this is why I really need a converter. I don't use an emulator with rippers etc(my machine just can't handle em) so would really appriciate some help with this.

Bits have been mentioned in other topics, so i'm trying to find links to things at the moment.

Thanks for your help.

:D

Peace...

ProWiz (on the PC) will convert TCB Tracker to .MOD files along with a whole host of other esoteric .MOD files
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Do them yourself via STEEM (Debugger edition) ..

a) Load demo
b) wait for bit of demo that has your piece of music in it
c) Use STEEM Memory dump feature to extract from 0->FFFFFFF (1MB dump option) to a file
d) Shove the file through ProWiz and if it can find any weird and wonderful MOD files it recognises, it will extract them and convert them to proper .MOD format for you too.

you can load tcb-tracker into protracker 2.1 and then save them as protracker... BUT... it does not convert some of the TCB-tracker commands... esp. for the An cool musics coz he uses them alot... I already tried it and realised that I have to re-edit all of the files by hand
which is a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS :)

Thats why conversions are not ready yet for MDEMO4...
but I have MDEMO 3 tunes... please mail me.
