unDIM, unMSA, unST - disk to file extractor on right-click?

Postby Mug UK » Sun May 02, 2004 5:16 pm

Anyone made (or fancy having a go at) a simple tool to make life easier for me (and anyone else who'd find this useful).

A simple Windows extension program which will enable you to right-click on a DIM, ST or MSA file and then extract the files (assuming it's a proper disk with FAT table etc) into a folder?

Saves me having to mount the image in STEEM, then copy contents to emulated h/drives and then examine files under Windows via WinHex ..

Anyone know of a tool like this?
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk
