Demo ID/Request.

Postby STEdawg » Fri Mar 22, 2013 10:36 pm

I am trying to I.D. and find a demo that I used to own many moons ago that I am unable to find anywhere. My memory is sketchy, but I think it was a tracker/.mod based demo. I definitely remember a "Rainbow"(as in the UK kids tv series) rave style track. Something tells me it was by "Adrenalin" or "adrenaline", but I could be completely wrong. I do know that it was by a British demo crew. Something also tells me it was made in either 1993 or 1994 too.

Any ideas?

:)

It wasn't any of those, it was defo a demo as opposed to a module compilation. Maybe it wasn't Adrenalin, it's 19-21 years ago now so it's difficult trying to recall the name or crew behind it. I'd know the name of the demo if someone mentioned it. I wasn't a massively well known demo by the likes of TCB or TLB etc etc.

Hmm.

It definitely wasn't by Redlite, and that .mod wasn't anything to do with the demo i'm trying to find. Thank you for looking. I'll have another look through the No Fragments archive and see if i've missed it, although it wasn't a famous demo so it might not even be on there. We shall see.

Definitely not Untouchables or Wildboys.

Does anyone have a text listing of L.A.P.D's catalogue, I have a feeling it was available there.

Sorry for the thread revival (curiosity got the better of me), but the only demo that fits all mentioned that I can think of is 'Jesus on Cheese' on the amiga. A fun demo but I hope you didn't mean that one, from that one, DID YOU? ;)

Was it the one that was created as part of the International ST Party (I can't remember the full name of the demo, even though I actually attended the event) that was held in Bradford in (I think) 1992?

I'm sure my memory is fading fast so I looked it up (via stnicc.com's excellent database of demo parties etc.) and it was The Great British International ST Party and it was held in Bradford in August 1993.

Disk image attached and yes it's got a Rainbow demo on it. And as Marcer suggested, it hasn't aged well :)
