Hi,

Is there any Hard Disk compatible version of:
Space Ace Demo (readysoft 1990) rolling demo
Dragon's Lair games rolling demos?

that would play also in my TT and Falcon?
Thank you.

This version can be copied to a HDD but doesn't work on my Falcon. Yes in my MEGASTe

Why should someone spending time to do hard disk installable of demo when it is done for full version ?
Instead it, better do some other game, full version of course :D

I like this demo...
It was in all stores here in Spain in 1990 (usually on Amiga 500) and I liked it seeing it in my Atari 520STfm with quite impressive graphics and sound, and very close to the Amiga version. But now...with my MegaSTe, TT and Falcon...I would like it compatible with them and in my HDD... ...if possible :(

Demo was in stores ? I hope that you did not pay for it :D
May I ask: why you want to play/watch rather crippled game = demo instead full version ?

No!No paying for it
I mean that it was the demo used in stores to show Amiga capabilities that time. Space Ace rolling demo. I was impressed first time (and second, and third...) I saw it.

Full version game is nice but is slow (in action and loading scenes...there are lot of pauses)...it doesn't have the action and the fast scenes showed as a resume on the demo...and doesn't roll all time.

I just only want to watch it, like any other Atari demo. :)

Surprise: you can set watching mode with hard disk versions of Space Ace, Dragon Lairs . And loads fast, of course.
So, may be considered as demo too. And of course, this thread belongs not in Demoscene section, but games s.

Yes, I have seen the play mode. I just wanted to have this game demo for HDD and compatible with Falcon and TT. That's why I opened it on Demos-Request and not game. The game was done for HDD long time ago :(.

There is a saying: Better sparrow in hand than dove on branch.
What I see here is that someone has dove in hand, and wants sparrow from branch

:? Atari world seems to be always complicated... :( and it was my first computer, an Atari 520STfm, 24 years ago. I love my Ataris but sometimes is a thorny path...
I asked for the Amiga version and it has been posted for all Amiga models compatible (from A500 to A4000 060) and HDD installable in few days and whithout asking for justifications. Just for enjoy of the Amiga comunity to have another new HDD demo.

If the demo compatible with TT and Falcon and HDD is not possible, or people think that doesn't worth it, or people with knowledge don't want to do it, is ok, this thread can be closed. But I think that I have the right, as you said, to post a request for it.

That's all. I don't know if it is difficult or not, because I don't have the knowledge to do it myself (if I had it, I would have done it). But it seems yes, that it is difficult, and it can't be done. So in this case, this thread can be closed, please.

Thank you.
