Okay this seems to be similar to the one I am looking for. I think though that there was another demo that looked exactly like the game. It was actually like a rip off. In matter of fact, I don't think it was Phaleon since I remember this demo from 1991 and Phaleon was released in 1992.

Two other similar screens I can think of, would be;

1. A pompey Pirates menu. The one with Turrican on.
2. A screen from the Vodka Demo

:)

Wow. Never seen that demo before. Strange, as I thought I had seen most on the ST.
Some really good code in there :)

All these screens just go to show what the ST was capable of, and what a poor convertion was made of the game.

You should check out http://sotb.free.fr/ for a remake of SOTB. Its done using SDL, and looks to be promising indeed :)
Check out the "Goodies" section for a list of games that are similar to SOTB. A really good line-up :)
You might want to have a look at http://www.glop.org/software/sotb/ for some Blitz Basic source to the first level of SOTB :wink:
Wonder if anyone can make somthing of that source code; it seems it would be a really good foundation for the start of project :)
Actaully, come to think of it - I wonder what sort of SOTB type game you could make now.
