Music from Adh'so screen / Overlanders in the Lightning demo

Postby dyno64100 » Tue Aug 11, 2015 9:29 am

Hi all,

I'm trying to rip the soundtrack from Ad's Oh screen / Overlanders in the Lightning demo (packed in POV 159), for a Codef remake.

The music is Noname by Anty/Scoopex, and can be found on Demozoo.

But it seems that the module used in the demo is a reworked version, the arrangement of tracks is not the same : in the intro the notes are splitted over 4 voices, whereas in scoopex mod, the notes are located in the 1st voice.

I would like to get the same effect with vu-meters over 4 voices, so i'm trying to get the module directly from the demo PRG.

I've tried Adrenaline Ripper, but it does not find any soundtrack music. Also, I've disassembled with Easy Rider, but I'm not able to find anything lookind like a soundtrack in the code...

Does anyone have already ripped this music ? Or at least can give me a clue where to find this music in the prog ? Is it protected in some way ?

Cheers

Finally I managed to swap the order of voices with MilkyTracker.
No more need for a ripped version of the soundtrack...
The html5 remake is available here : http://wab.com/?screen=333

Ok already solved... :) I guess the original file is "soundtracker" and not protracker... Adrenaline ripper does not recognize that.
