Atari TT on "Weekly Treats" series.

Postby yerzmyey » Sun Jul 19, 2015 5:46 pm

Hi.

Just a short message that we appeared, with Gasman, on the "Weekly Treats" series.
http://chipmusic.org/forums/post/232659/#p232659

I used Atari TT, 4Mb of RAM, the almighty Hex-Tracker / 16 channels.

Gasman used ZX Spectrum with synths and vocoders.

Enjoy!
Yerz

PS: Here is the concert version of my song: https://youtu.be/feOqOBTui5g with additional live drums and toy-synths. Although here, instead of gigantic Atari TT :) I used Atari Falcon. But the sound is 100% the same.

Fully agreed!

And while I'm not enlightened enough to understand the language, it's obvious
everyone is having a *great* time. Wish I could have been there! :)

Hehe, the party - yyyyyupp. :) There are quite many Atari parties in PL, although mostly for 8bit machines, but usually with presence of 16/32.
There are more/less 50 people, not that bad for a classic computer(s), I'd say.
This particular party was actually the first edition but seems like there will be more, next years, so You have a chance. ;)

This was the party's WWW page: http://derenegeracja.atari.pl/aktualnosci/en

Thx a lot guys; TT is powerful indeed.

PS: Although finally I found Falcon can play the same song too, with the same quality. :)
Hmmm... Although - maybe with even bigger? I wonder.
TT has 8-bit sound. Falcon has 16-bit sound. Although the MOD itself is 8bit of course, but it's interesting which playback is better - it would seem like the 16bit one. Ha.
