YM VST

Postby accxess » Thu Sep 25, 2008 8:29 am

Hi!

I use the YM-VST plugin quite a lot and I love it, but there is one thing that bothers me.. I can't find a way to set the pwm "oscillation speed" of the sid emulation. So I usually end up using another synth for my sid sounds, mostly the 3OSC synth that is built into FL-Studio. Is there a way to set the speed of pwm (sid oscillation) in the YM-VST plugin?
Regards
/Tobias

Never mind... I made my own PWM SID sound using the Sytrus synth :)

on real hardware you have to deal with the limited resolution of the YM frequency and MFP frequency registers. i was not able to emulate this in a satisfying way with ymVST.

anyway, i made it fixed to respond like a older YM tracker, for example SID Sound Designer
