TrDM01 - Dungeon Master Trainer

Postby WillieSea » Sun Nov 26, 2006 8:06 pm

Is there any interest in this?

With it, you can give yourself any item you want. Unfortunately, you have to know the number of the item, its weight, and then add the weight to your character. If your weight goes below zero, it wraps around the +-500 KG and you can't move. One thing I noticed, when you replicate a full waterskin, and drink from one, it empties both of them. I use it to give myself food, or to replicate arrows and stars and such.

I am still playing with it, so if this is of interest, let me know.

I made it myself using the 'Trainer Maker Kit v1.5'.

When you add an item to the last slot in inventory (see picture, the slot has the cheese wheel which is number '26873' and weighs '8') it will replace what is there. So empty it first in game.
The 'Load' box show '33' for a load in the game of '3.3'.
When there is nothing in the inventory slot, the value will be '65535'. You can safely replicate food and items. But since the items are linked, a consumable item will consume all occurrances of it. (waterskin, potion bottles?)

Comments welcome.

I tried playing the game with a different .st image, and the memory locations are off.

:?: What image should I use to set the memory locations to??? :?:

Which one?

Dungeon Master v1.1 (1987)(FTL)(En)[f hard disk version].st
Dungeon Master v1.1 (1987)(FTL)(En).st
Dungeon Master (1987)(FTL)[cr Lord].st
Dungeon Master (1987)(FTL)[cr 42-Crew][a].st
Dungeon Master (1987)(FTL)[cr 42-Crew].st

I have not tried all of them, but I would like to make the trainer work for the best .st image.

So, what is the vote? Which one actually works all the way through?

Here is one I edited to work with the STEEM image:
Dungeon Master v1.1 (1987)(FTL)(En)[f hard disk version].st

It will probably work with other images as well.

Enjoy!

I found some errors and have updated this link to v1.6

I also added a button that will fill the last slot of everybody with a cheese wheel and add .8 to their weight.

I used to use TMK for all my trainers .. very handy tool and very easy to make pretty graphical front-ends too :)
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk
