v_opnbm and line drawing?

Postby tschak909 » Mon May 14, 2018 5:18 am

I can see that v_opnbm is useful in creating off-screen bitmaps. I need this to essentially create the terminal display, which I am blitting to my target window with vrt_cpyfm(), and my text output is blitting to the bitmap, but how can I get various VDI functions to render directly to these off-screen bitmaps instead of to the screen?

(p.s. sorry for double posting, but the forum spit out an error 500 when I submitted the post)

You do it exactly the same: all output goes to the VDI handle you got with v_opnbm(). By the way, you are aware this will require NVDI?
