Blitter interrupt

Postby thothy » Mon May 19, 2008 6:56 pm

According to some interrupt vector docs, there is an interrupt vector at $10C which is triggered when the blitter finished an operation. Has anybody some further details on this (e.g. how to set up the MFP for this) or has anybody ever already used this interrupt?

I think that it is false - interrupt vector $10 has nothing with blitter. Actually, it is exception vector, not interrupt.
Blitter interrupts MFP's B interrupt, bit 3 when finishes. That's all. But as I see, mostly directly blitter busy bit is checked for end test.

like ppera says, use bit 3 in these MFP registers. $10C should indeed be the place to put the interrupt vector.

$FFFFFA09
$FFFFFA0D
$FFFFFA11
$FFFFFA15

$FFFFFA1B you probably need to set this baby to timer stop (0).. i myself only have experience with event count mode (%1000) using timer b..

Maybe Paranoid / Paradox can help you? He seems like the definite Blitter guru these days! :)

Ops... I misread. It is $10C, not $10 ...

Thanks for the information, guys!

Does anybody know a game or demo which uses this interrupt?
